Centurions,
The close of this third and final season is fast approaching. With the upcoming PotY and National events set to take place in less than a month, we decided to step in only if any tangibly problematic situations arose, to avoid disrupting what we believe to be a good balance.
Additionally, considering the substantial nature of the last update in September, we believe more time is needed for these recent changes to have a significant impact on the metagame. Adding more elements at this point could be redundant and counterproductive for the format’s growth.
Nonetheless, we are keeping a close eye on a couple of cards that seem potentially over the top, while also continuing to evaluate other possible reintroductions.
For these reasons, we believe no changes are necessary for this update.
News & Notes:
- The next Quarterly Big Event will take place on Sunday, November 17th in Turin at Magic Lair.
- The year’s final event, which includes the Player of the year and National Championship, will be held on December 7-8 in Cento.
