Centurions,
we are entering the hottest part of the year for the format, with the second Level 2 tournamernt and Player of the Year and Legionwar rapidly approaching. While players are battling harder than ever to secure a spot in the Player of the Year rooster, we can start to summarize the impact of the last changes to the banlist and about the state of the metagame.
We are gladly noting that the changes presented in the June update have brought new tools and ideas to the gaming tables, without polarizing the choices but offering a wider spectrum of options. All the archetypes are well represented and there is an excellent balance between al of them.
Moreover, with the uninterrupted flow of new releases, there are plenty of potentially good decks that are waiting to be discovered and optimized, so we think that the there is an abundance of brewing space without making any change to the banlist.
Our work of evaluating the cards continues, and we are putting our best efforts in keeping the format balanced while staying in line with the always increasing power level of cards.
Therefore, by making a ‘no changes’ official for this update, we will see you at the next update.
